Itinerary:

Friday 17th June:

Meet @ 10.30 in Lyndhurst for a 40 mile ride around the New Forest with a coffee stop in Lymington

Following the ride drive to Portsmouth to stay in the Royal Beach Hotel.

Meal out in Portsmouth - venue TBC.

Saturday 18th June:

Breakfast at the Royal Beach Hotel

Ride to Ferry Terminal to catch 09:00 ish ferry to Isle of Wight

Ride the official Isle of Wight Circular Route starting in Ryde in a clockwise direction with a few deviations for coffee stops including the infamous coffee stop in Ventnor for Crab Sandwiches. See attached map for the route.

Return to Portsmouth via Ferry at 17.00 ish

Ride back to hotel for a swim in the sea and Fish and Chips on the beach.

Drive home or stay another night in Portsmouth.

People can do both days or just one of the days, last year when a few of us rode around the Isle of Wight we had a fantastic time, it is far from flat but the route is made up of well surfaced reasonably quiet roads.
