Tour of Albania May 2024
We have booked this trip based on the prices/details below. There are a few spaces left for extras but we are definitely going on the basis of those already signed up. Further details on the Team App.

Day 1 – Arrival , Transfer from the Airport to Tirana
Day 2 – Transfer to Lin , Cycle to Pogradec 40km-200m.
Day 3 – Cycle to Korce 52km – 500m
Day 4 – Cycle to Sotire 72km – 1,200m
Day 5 – Cycle to Benje,Permet , 60km – 600m
Day 6 – Cycle to Gjirokaster , 70km – 300m
Day 7 – Farewell
Price : 850€ p.P
Single Supplement : 150€

Isle of Wight 2024
Date for your diary, the 2024 Isle of Wight trip will be on the 12th and 13th July. Same format as previous years as in Day 1 meet in Milford on Sea for a ride around the New Forest. Stay locally to catch a ferry from Lymington on the Saturday morning to do an anti clockwise lap of the Isle of Wight following the official route returning to Lymington at approx 6pm.

Aston Hill Everesting - Charity Event.
On Saturday 31st August the Club will be riding the elevation of Mount Everest, in aid of Helen and Douglas House. This is an Oxfordshire based children’s hospice where club member Morag works.  The intention is to get the membership (all/some?) to ride up Aston Hill 76 times in one day. This equals the height of Everest. Obviously the more members that reach the summit the less each volunteer will have to do!
We are aiming for a target of £2000 and hope that most of our members can attract some sponsorship and climb the hill repeatedly!
We will have a group justgiving page and we will be seeking donations from beyond the club.
We will encourage non-members to have a go (allowing us to summit Everest twice with a huge bit of luck!) and they would pay a small charitable fee for the pleasure.
